What in the world does Slash Tangent mean?
Well the story about how I got the name is a bit random. When I was in high school I went through a phase in which I started to learn how to juggle, and when I am really into something I dedicate a lot of time and effort into it. During that time I became good friend with a juggler from New Jersey who went by the name of Reese 2150 he started doing a podcast and a term that he used that I really liked was slash tangent, in other words going off on a tangent. Once I decided I wanted to make my own website I asked him if it was okay if I took the name and was fine with it and now here it is.
What equipment do you use?
As of right now it's just a standard PC Computer. I no longer have my capture card, when I graduated high school I grave it to my buddy who was doing videos with me as a gift. Personally I don't even remember what kind it was. I guess if you want to get technical here are the stats of my current PC:

Why did you start doing this?
Back in the day I used to be a big Rooster Teeth fan (I still am just not as big), they started up the Achievement Hunter Segment and had a contest for the community to join the team. Me being optimistic I made my first video which was Payback for The Orange Box. The quality isn't that great but people seemed to enjoy the video since I went a bit of a different route than most achievement videos. I was looking to go for entertaining and informing, and people seemed to enjoy it. So I continued to make more (even though I didn't win the contest) and I had a blast making the videos all of my commentary was impromptu and nothing was prerecorded. There were times where I had to record the voice over a few times because I would forget a detail or loose my train of thought but it always worked out in the end.
When are you going to make any more videos?
Personally I don't know... I would love to start making videos again but realistically I don't know if I will or when. I would need to get new equipment to start recording I just recently lost my job so money is a bit tight at the moment. Maybe when I get a new job I will start again who knows?
What are your favorite games?
This to me is a trick question, because I have a lot of games I consider my all time favorites but I cannot rank them. To ask me to rank my favorite games would be like asking a dog why he likes one bone more than the other.So I'm just going to name a few The Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask, Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, Call of Duty (the original), Assassins Creed, Golden Sun, Super Smash Bros Melee, Super Mario 64, and many others that it just a few of my favorites.
What is your favorite system?
Once again that is another hard question I personally love the Nintendo 64, it was what I played as a kid growing up more than anything and I still go back and play it today. Besides that I would have to say the Xbox 360, now before you PS3 hackles get at me understand this I don't own a PS3 at the moment so I haven't had a chance to play almost any of its games so get off of my back.

Why does the layout of your website suck?
It was designed a few years ago (2009ish) by a good friend of mine who is a graphic artist who I paid $5 to come up with a quick site layout for me. I would like a better looking website but I don't know HTML so until I either learn or someone wants to design one for me this will have to do.
Where do you buy your games?
The more modern games I usually buy from GameStop or I find deals on craigslist. As for older games that really varies most of them I buy from a local shop here in town called Propaganda Palace which my buddy AJ owns and operates I would say about half of my older games came from him the other half came from places like amazon or ebay.
Can I see your collection?
Yes and No. You can look at what I have in my collection Here, but I don't have any pictures of my collection at the moment it is too spread out over the place a big picture.
Why Steve50013?
Well why not? My name is Steve and back in the day when I was trying to come up with a screen name I got tired of using fake identities and so I just wanted to use my name. Since I am not the original Steve I had to have a number at the time my favorite number was 13 so I tried Steve13 to no ones surprise it was already taken so I went to my number pad and just hit three random numbers to put in front of the 13 and thus Steve50013 was born.
